Working across the Barossa, Northern Adelaide, Riverland and Murraylands regions, Dave has built a reputation as a knowledgeable, strategic and highly accessible agent who is deeply passionate about property and delivering strong outcomes for clients. Dave brings almost two decades of experience across residential, rural, commercial, land division and business sales.
After leaving school at 17, Dave began his working career in the building industry before relocating to Darwin at age 20, where he started a 24-year career with Telstra. Initially qualifying as a communications technician, he later progressed into a range of frontline management roles across the country. During those years, Dave also developed a passion for property, renovating five houses and building one himself. “I’ve always loved property, and I’ve always enjoyed identifying its potential and understanding what makes each property unique. After years of renovating and building, moving into real estate felt like a natural step,” he said.
Dave transitioned into real estate sales in 2006, later completing his Real Estate Auctioneer Licence in 2009 and Diploma in Property Services (RLA) in 2010.
Dave manages the Barossa and Waikerie teams while handling a substantial portfolio of listings across multiple regions. He says his passion for people, property and continuous improvement is what drives him every day. “I’m always researching the market and building on my knowledge because this industry is constantly evolving. If you want to be a leader in this field, you have to keep up with it.”
For Dave, the most rewarding aspect of his role is having the opportunity to make a genuine impact on people’s lives. Every client has their own circumstances that influence their decisions, and I enjoy the challenge of helping them navigate that process,” he said. “Whether it’s showing compassion during a difficult situation or helping someone achieve an amazing result, you really can make a difference.”
Having spent almost 15 years with Elders, Dave says he feels a strong connection to the business and its growth journey. “I’m incredibly proud to have been part of the Elders success story and to feel like I’ve contributed to the growth, even if only in a small way. When you immerse yourself deeply into something, you become part of it.”
